DISC GOLF AND A NATURE WALK

Let’s take a Bear Valley stroll! We’ll start off exploring the local disc golf course to toss around some silliness. Then Father-of-the-Bride/California mountaineer Mack B will lead us on a mini-adventure. Extra props to all who can provide Sierra flora and fauna identification.

We will meet in front of Bear Valley Lodge. Bring water and wear comfy walking shoes.

A DAY TO PLAY AT LAKE ALPINE

Lakeside gathering and BBQ! Bring your own bevs. Come with your flip flops, floaties, swim suits, towels, kayaks, and fishing poles for an excellent day in the sunshine.

Grillables and snacks, ice, music and friends will be on site and ready for fun. Lake Alpine is 7 minutes up the hill from Bear Valley Lodge on Hwy 4. Park in or close to the Lake Alpine parking lot, which is across the road from the Lake Alpine Resort restaurant entrance.

THE WEDDING AND RECEPTION

The bash will be held outdoors on Mount Reba. Shuttles to the ceremony will be provided from Bear Valley Lodge at 3pm. The evening dinner reception and ensuing merriment will continue on the mountainside. Shuttles back to the Lodge will be available all night long. To allow all wedding guests a night of relaxation and uninhibited revelry, the wedding and reception will be adults only. Dress code is semi-formal. Dancing shoes, wedges or even hiking boots are recommended over stilettos, as the ground may be uneven.
